From the moment Yukon came home, he decided that wherever I was, that was exactly where he needed to be. Those beautiful blue eyes may have been what first won me over at the shelter, but it was his goofy, loyal personality that made him such a huge part of our family.

As Dad Dog, Yukon does his best to keep the pups in line — when he isn't busy barking at something outside, making me laugh, or following me from room to room. He's goofy, devoted, protective, and never too far from my side.

My Shadow is inspired by the boy who never lets me walk through life alone. Wherever I go, Yukon is sure to be right there beside me.
